Accessibility Consulting & Speaking

Bringing professional design expertise and lived disability experience together to create more inclusive environments.

I'm an NCIDQ-certified interior designer, former Haworth design professional, disability advocate, and experienced conference speaker.

After years working in commercial interiors, architectural design, and UX/UI, I now combine my professional background with my lived experience as a wheelchair user to help organizations create more accessible, inclusive, and human-centered environments.

Through consulting, speaking, and education, I'm reconnecting with the profession I love while bringing a perspective shaped by both sides of the design process.

Accessibility & Inclusive Design Consulting

Accessibility goes beyond meeting minimum requirements. It's about how people actually experience a space.

I work with businesses, organizations, and design professionals to identify accessibility barriers and explore practical improvements.

Consulting may include:

  • Accessibility reviews of existing spaces and proposed layouts

  • Furniture, circulation, and usability recommendations

  • Universal design and sensory accessibility considerations

  • Trauma-informed approaches to interior environments

  • Collaboration with design teams seeking disability-informed perspectives

My approach combines professional design knowledge with firsthand experience navigating spaces as a disabled wheelchair user.

Consulting is advisory and does not replace formal ADA compliance or architectural reviews.

Professional Speaking & Educational Workshops

Experienced conference speaker. Design professional. Disability educator.

During my time at Haworth, I presented CEU-eligible educational sessions at three CETX conferences for fellow design industry professionals.

Previous topics included simplifying design workflows through templates and using renderings to communicate design concepts.

Today, I offer presentations combining professional design expertise, disability advocacy, and lived experience.
